CONSTITUTION

ARTICLE I
CLAUSE 1: NAME
The club is known as Leo Club of Penang Chinese Girls High School.

ARTICLE II
CLAUSE 1: ADDRESS
The official address (school) of Leo Club of Penang Chinese Girls High School is 2, Jalan Gottlieb, 10350 Penang.

ARTICLE IV
CLAUSE 1: PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
1. Nurturing the Value of Love and the spirit of cooperating with fellow members.
2. Cultivate understanding among members.
3. Strengthen relationships among members.
4. Advocate for freedom and gain knowledge / experience through community services.
5. Emphasize and assist in the field of community welfare.
6. Maintain peace and prosperity of the country.
7. Foster a patriotic spirit or love for the law and the leader of the country, and the nation.
8. Provide opportunities for members to experience the culture of other countries.
9. Launching health and hygiene activities.
10. Provide learning opportunities in leadership.


ARTICLE V
CLAUSE 1: MEMBERSHIP
1.1 Open to all students of this school or as stated by the school.
1.2 Comply with the rules laid down by the constitution.
1.3 Every member has the right to speak in a decision.
1.4 Present yourself in all club activities. Members who are absent from any club activity for three consecutive times without a reasonable excuse will be withdrawn from membership.
1.5 If a member withdraws from membership, the fee will not be refunded.

- 'Lion' from sponsorship club Lions Club of Georgetown Central.
1.4 Board of Directors:
1.4.1 The Selection of Board of Directors is made through the Annual General Meeting
1.4.2 The Board of Directors are:

- Assistant Secretary
- Treasurer
- Assistant Treasurer
- Tamer
- Membership Director
- Assistant Membership Director
- Information and Technology Director
- Discipline Director
- Public Relations Director
- Tail Twister Director
- Health and Environmental Director

- Art and Board Director
- Form Representatives

1.5 Duties and responsibilities of the Board of Directors:
1.5.1 The president will chair the committee meeting and supervise the club's activities.
1.5.2 Vice President will assist the President in the matters of the club and preside over the meeting in the absence of the President.
1.5.3 The Secretary will manage all correspondence and provide minutes of meetings, reports and record all activities.
1.5.4 The Assistant Secretary will assist the Secretary to carry out her work and resume the post during the absence of the Secretary.
1.5.5 The Treasurer will collect all members' fees, keep the club account and prepare the Financial Statement before the General Meeting.
1.5.6 The Assistant Treasurer will assist the Treasurer to carry out her work and resume the post during the absence of the Treasurer.
1.5.7 The Public Relations Director will contact the out-of-school clubs to get the latest information and strengthen the relationship of our club with other clubs.
1.5.8 The Discipline Director reserves the right to choose members to carry out a task for the club and to convict a member who has committed an offense.
1.5.9 The Information and Technology Director will be in charge of the club's web page and display the latest information on the internet.
1.5.10 The Art and Board Director will constantly update the notice board to update the latest information of club activities to the members. The Art and Board Director reserves the right to choose members to assist in the work of updating the notice boards.
1.5.11 The form representatives will maintain the progress / performance of members of their respective forms and they are in charge in the distributing and collecting of parents’ consent letters.
1.5.12 All Board of Directors provides guidance to members who are in trouble and work together in order to think of a good solution.
1.5.13 All Board of Directors will work together to design the projects to be carried out throughout the year and provide assistance to members who are assigned to take over a project.

ARTICLE VII
CLAUSE 1: FINANCE
1.1 Membership fees
Membership fees are RM 12 per year.
1.2 Saving Objectives
1.2.1 Collection of funds is only used for club activities.
1.2.2 The Club is entitled to receive donations in financial form or other form from any party.
1.3 Credit Approval
The right to approve finances is in the hands of the Central Committee, it must be  approved through the advice of the Advisory Teacher or the adviser of the Lions Club.
1.4 Money Safekeeping
Club money exceeding RM 200 should be deposited in a bank / advisory teacher.

ARTICLE VIII
CLAUSE 1: REGULATIONS
1.1  Rules of Meeting
The Annual General Meeting is to be held in June and decided by the Central Committee with the consent of the 'Lion' Advisory and Advisory Teacher.

Objectives of the Annual General Meeting:
(i)                 Receive and endorse the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting.
(ii)               Receive and endorse financial reports.
(iii)             Amend the constitution when required.
(iv)             To dissolve the old Board of Directors.
(v)               Select new members for the new Board of Directors.

1.2 Annual General Meeting / Board of Directors Meeting is only valid when 2/3 of then members are present.
1.3 Notice of Annual General Meeting / Board of Directors Meeting must be issued a week before the date of the meeting.
1.4 Regular Annual Meetings / Board of Director Meetings / Regular Meetings must be attended by at least one Advisor Teacher.
1.5 Meetings will be held on the dates set by the school.
1.6 Every member must comply with all the rules of the meeting so that the meeting runs smoothly and perfectly.

CLAUSE 2: PARTICIPATION OF OUTPUT ACTIVITIES
2.1 All outdoor activities must be approved by the school and must obtain parental consent.

2.2 The final decision on the participation of the activity is based on the decision of the Teacher Advisor, 'Lion' Adviser or President.
