Walk For Sight and Sound

The annual "Walk For Sight" was held on the 17th of July, organised by Lions Club of Georgetown Perdana 3rd year running. The 3.8km blind-folded walk was organised to raise funds for St. Nicholas Home as well as for Penang Deaf Association. It reminds us of how fortunate we are to have all the basic senses functioning well.

warming up! :)

Our Leos energetic and ready to start. Roar!

getting started! :)

Leo Yan Yan leading, blind-folded!

A sighted participant will lead another blind-folded participant to walk, thus giving them the opportunity to experience blindness and most importantly, to value sight and to appreciate teamwork .
